Hi! It's been a few days since I've posted anything. Life gets busy sometimes, huh?
First, I would like to say I got a fun job at an antique/vintage/resale shop. It's tough but fun, and I'm really happy to have it. I need to learn how to negotiate on buying and selling though!
I hope to be moving into a new great apartment starting Saturday! I am very excited, time to pack! I'm also scared though... I haven't studied for my LSAT in ages, and it's in June! I want to do well and haven't worked towards it in a long time. I think once I'm moved in, I need to spend my free time not just on etsy, but on studying.
I have found some GREAT new things to list on etsy. I am VERY EXCITED, I just love loving what I sell!!
Ok! Some treasuries I've been in lately!
Aren't they all so wonderful? I've been so busy, I feel bad I haven't posted them before now! I want to click, comment, tweet and blog them all when they happen! Etsy really is a full time job =]

Treasury by Modred12
Lovely treasury I was featured in. I like that the pastels aren't too soft, and really have a spring like feel to them.

Treasuries
I woke up to find I was put in three lovely treasuries! Here they are
I think they're all so lovely, and I'm really happy to be included in them.

I was featured in another lovely treasury. I like how the items seem eclectic, but it all goes together in an "lovely easy living" kind of way.

Blue Moderntone Platonite Cup & Saucer
I found two cups and saucers in perfect condition! Not just cups or just saucers as I have found previously (pink saucers and blue cups, can you believe it?). I was so excited to find these, the colors are so vibrant and new looking, there aren't any chips or cracks, I just love them!
Gorgeous blue, right? Great for Easter, like everything else I post. I guess that's what I'm obsessed with at the moment, spring/Easter looking things, aka pastels!
I am selling both sets on etsy

Pink Milk Glass Candy Dish
I just love the pink milk glass of jeannette. It's so pale and delicate, the soft creamy pink can go with so many different things. With Easter coming up, I just squeal with the potential of everything I see in pastels.
I got this wonderful dish from the same place as the cake stand I sold last week. It has a tiny form of hobnail all over the surface, except for the flattened smooth corners. It originally came with a lid, but I'm sure that is long since broken. It also has a nice and simple leaf and acorn design on it, which I find to not be slapping me in the face, but rather adding a nice overall look to the dish.

MacBeth Evans Pastel Strip Petalware
These are my favorite plates.
They are a creamy milk glass with pale pink green and blue stripes around the edge. They're a great size for lunch or dessert, and would look adorable with other depression glass era, or other spring/Easter decor.
Look how nice they fit in with other pastel colored things. I debated whether or not to keep them ever since I bought them. I bought them knowing I would sell them, but I love them so much. Compromise? I am keeping the two with little chips in them, and selling the ones in great condition.
And, don't they look great on the cake plate I just sold?
I have this last picture to demonstrate the opaqueness of the plate. The petal part of the plates is thinner and more delicate milk glass, so the light shines through there more, and it gives off a lovely sheet. These plates are so delicate and girly, I love them.
They are available for sale on my etsy shop, click here.

Vintage Green Lamp Shade
My Mom has an endless amount of stuff. I am not kidding when I say I go shopping in her room, she has an office for her craft and office supplies, and she has a room where she keeps all of her mosaic matieral, supplies and where she works on mosaics.
What I'm trying to say is, it is great! I love to shop at my Mother's! I always find great craft supplies and vintage things! She has been collecting this stuff for years, my whole life, and now I love it all! She is going to get all of her pottery, china etc together this spring and do a big tag sale. I'm helping but first I am going to pick what I want.
I found this vintage frosted green lamp shade in one of her many piles. It has a few tiny chips but other than that it is in great condition! These are worth a lot these days and I though I would try selling it!
I think it would be great as a bird feeder/bath for the spring/summer. It is such a refreshing color. Doesn't it look so delicate and bright in front of the window? It really pops.
Also, the top of it has a nice simple yet intricate floral design that I really like. As usual, you can go to my etsy shop if you're interested, just click here
Have a great day everyone!

Moderntone Platonite Saucers
I found these two saucers at a great antique store. The woman there has thousands of pieces of glass, if I'm in there for more than 5 minutes I start to get a panic attack. I'm scared I touch one thing and everything in the store will break. It's a serious concern every time I go there.
Anyway, she has loads at this store, the only thing is, it's not too close, then again none of my favorite places are. She has really great deals and knows everything about everything.
These two saucers are in such good condition! I love that they look like pottery but are in fact milk glass, you can see when you flip it over. And though they are saucers, they can still be used as small plates or put on display. I can see them used in a pale/pastel theme display, possibly for Easter, would that not be too cute? They would match the frosted tumblers I posted yesterday. Can you tell I'm all about the pastel shades, and Easter time?
If you're interested in buying them click here
