I went up north with my family earlier this week to a town called Lewiston. While there was nothing around for miles, I did manage to find an antique store that I didn't expect much from. I went with my Mom, two aunts and my grandma (who is almost 85 and quite a trip!). This store was much larger than I expected! Everything was displayed by color and I had a blast. It was hard not to get out of control with buying and I only got a few things, but boy I am excited about them! Check out this set I found! MacBeth Evans Monax Bordette set of dinner plates, bread plates and saucers in pink blue green and yellow!
Aren't they gorgeous? All the colors are so vibrant and all the plates are in such good condition! If only I had the cups to complete the set! I would never have found these around here, I do have the platter to this set in my etsy shop and that was such a find! I'll have this set up on etsy soon, so keep your eyes open for it!
I also found some plates of one of my all time favorite patterns. The pastel stripe petalware also by MacBeth Evans. Another rare style to find, and I got three plates in the past two days! Excited! They'll also be on my etsy shop soon.
I'll have to post soon to show teh new additions to my corner cabinet and of some other things... for example, today I found the last New Dot Pyrex bowl to finish my set, the big one with green dots! For only $18, I mean what a find!

Flamingo Pink
That is the name of the vibrant color of this pyrex pie plate that was also one of my mother's that she is asking me to sell.
It is in very good condition, I took a close look and I'm pretty sure there is no paint fading or chips. I don't think this pie plate will sell as quickly as the pink striped pyrex bowls, but I think this is a great find for anyone who wants to add to their pyrex collection.
I also got these adorable pastel flower cups at target today, I filled them with pastel candy and it looks great and Easter-y. I put them on the pie plate and I just want to keep it now! Would make a great display for candy for Easter time.

Pink Pyrex Bowls
Quite a few of years ago I became a little obsessed with pyrex, as I do many things. I started collecting and I didn't really ahve any direction. I didn't know about prices, styles or anything, I just got what I liked at really cheap prices, if I thought they were in good enough condition. Lucky for me, my mom is a big antiquer and she picked me up a ton of great pieces. Her friends fount out and did the same for me.
As the ones we spend time with get into new things and you help them collect something, that person might start to like those kinds of things as well. My mother ended up getting quite a bit of her own collection of pyrex as well. Her things varied, in a sense, even more than I did. These bowls are hers. They are amazing and in great condition. They are well saught after and I have a hard time letting her give them up. She has given them to me to sell on my etsy, along with some other of her pastel pryex pieces.
My pyrex is currently packed away in hiding, as I am between places right now. I would love to keep these I just don't have the room, or the capablitity to go through my own things in order to have these bowls replace something.
Also, take a look at this adorable 50s pink tin shelf I found in my mom's many storage areas. I cleaned it up but it still needs a good scrubbing. It is perfect for displaying all of these pastel creamy vintage pieces.
I am hoping someone out there, maybe someone reading this, will fall in love with them and offer them a good home! And of course, if you are interested in purchasing these three lovely bowls, check out my etsy shop

Another Blog
Hi everyone!
I have a few blogs, I must admit, but they all have their own wonderful purpose! This one, as the name implies, is for my wonderful adventure in vintage things.
I am mostly into kitchenware currently: plates, all kinds of cups (tumblers, mugs, teacups) bowls, pitchers and all that kind of stuff. I am really into the creamy milk glass pieces. That is why I am called Creamy Vintage, I love the look of pyrex, anchor hocking (fireking), hazel atlas, and macbeth evans. I am in the learning stages of all these wonderful companies and the pieces they made, I hope you enjoy following me through my adventure of finding, learning, and selling creamy vintage.
